Who This Workshop Is For
This workshop is designed for individuals seeking a gentle, supportive approach to movement and mind-body awareness. It may be especially helpful for those who:
- Experience stress, overwhelm, or nervous system dysregulation
- Prefer slow, intentional movement over performance-based practices
- Are curious about somatic or trauma-sensitive yoga
- Want a choice-based environment that honors comfort and autonomy
- Are looking for a supportive complement to therapy or personal healing work
No prior yoga or movement experience is required.
What You May Gain
Participants often report that trauma-sensitive movement practices support:
- Increased body awareness and grounding
- Gentle release of physical tension
- Improved connection between breath, movement, and emotional regulation
- A greater sense of choice, safety, and self-compassion
This workshop is a supportive, educational experience and is not intended as clinical treatment.
How This Workshop Fits Into Healing Work
Somatic yoga can complement trauma therapy, EMDR, and other nervous system-informed approaches. This workshop is designed to stand alone while also supporting individuals engaged in ongoing therapeutic or wellness work.
What to Expect
You’ll be guided through slow, intentional poses and grounding techniques designed to release tension and restore balance. Participants are invited to move at their own pace — with no hands-on adjustments and no pressure to perform — in a welcoming environment that honors choice and comfort.
What to Bring & Wear
Wear comfortable clothing that allows for free movement. Mats, blankets, and props are available, but you’re welcome to bring your own for added comfort.
Please note:
By registering and submitting payment, you acknowledge that all tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
