Hi, I’m Gabriella Corsino.

I’m a Doctoral Practicum Student who believes therapy is most meaningful when you feel safe, heard, and supported.

As a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Northern Arizona University, I’m passionate about helping clients navigate life’s challenges with curiosity, compassion, and practical tools for healing. My clinical work is completed under the supervision of Dr. Amy Bjorkman, Licensed Psychologist and founder of Mind Body Healing Collective. This collaborative training model allows clients to benefit from thoughtful, evidence-based care, ongoing consultation, and the combined expertise of our clinical team.

I understand that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable. My goal is to create a space where you can show up just as you are, explore your experiences without judgment, and move toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.

How I Approach Therapy

I believe healing happens through connection, collaboration, and curiosity.

My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care and recognizes the important relationship between the mind, body, and nervous system. Together, we’ll explore the experiences that have shaped you while developing tools to help you feel more regulated, connected, and confident in your daily life.

As a registered yoga teacher, I’ve experienced the value of mindfulness and body awareness both personally and professionally. When it aligns with your goals, I enjoy incorporating these practices into therapy to help strengthen the connection between emotional and physical well-being.

I’m EMDR trained and have a special clinical interest in working with trauma. I’m also continuing to expand my training in Polyvagal Theory and Somatic Experiencing as I deepen my understanding of nervous system-informed care. I believe learning is a lifelong process, and I’m committed to bringing thoughtful, evidence-based approaches into my work with every client.

A Bit More About Me

Originally from Massachusetts, I completed my undergraduate degrees in Southern California then moved to Arizona to pursue my doctoral training. The community in Phoenix has quickly made Arizona a home.

Outside of the therapy office, you’ll often find me teaching yoga, spending time outdoors, or exploring new ways to bring mindfulness into everyday life. These experiences continue to remind me of the importance of slowing down, staying present, and caring for both mind and body.

Creating an affirming, welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds and identities is deeply important to me. I strive to foster a space where every client feels respected, valued, and supported throughout their healing journey.

Working with Gabriella

I enjoy working with adults from diverse backgrounds and have particular clinical interests in trauma, anxiety, mindfulness, eating disorder recovery, and supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
