If you have ever been curious about group healing but feel unsure or nervous about what that actually looks like, you are not alone.
At Mind Body Healing Collective, our trauma-informed workshops are designed with care, safety, and you in mind. These are not typical group events. There is no pressure to share, no expectation to perform, and no need to have it all figured out.
Instead, we offer a grounded space for exploration, reflection, and gentle connection with yourself and with others.
What Makes a Workshop Trauma-Informed?
Trauma-informed care begins with honoring your nervous system. In our workshops, that means:
- We move at a thoughtful pace
- Everything is invitational, so you choose how you engage
- We prioritize consent, clear boundaries, and emotional safety
You are never asked to share your story out loud. Many people attend workshops simply to be in a supportive space without speaking much at all. That is welcome here.

A Space That Feels Safe, Not Just Says It Is
Whether we are meeting in person or online, we begin by creating shared agreements around confidentiality, respect, and presence. You will be welcomed just as you are, without pressure to explain or justify anything about your experience.
Our facilitators are trained to support diverse nervous system needs. We hold space for all parts of you, including the ones that feel unsure or guarded.
What You Might Experience
Each workshop is unique depending on the theme, but you can generally expect:
- Somatic practices that help reconnect you with your body in gentle, accessible ways
- Mindfulness and breathwork to calm and regulate your nervous system
- Moments for reflection, journaling, or simply resting in quiet presence
You are always invited to choose what feels right for you. Silence is welcome. Stillness is welcome. Curiosity is welcome.
Who These Workshops Are For
You do not need to be in therapy, or even sure you are ready to talk about trauma, to attend.
Our workshops are a soft entry point for anyone who:
- Feels overwhelmed or burned out
- Wants to explore healing in community without pressure
- Is curious about somatic work but not ready for a full commitment to therapy
If you have ever thought, “I just want a space to breathe,” this may be the right place to begin.
Preparing for Your First Workshop
No special experience is required. Just come as you are.
You may want to:
- Wear comfortable clothing
- Bring a journal, water, or anything that helps you feel grounded
- For virtual workshops, set up in a quiet space with a stable internet connection
There is no right way to participate. Only your way.
If you have been carrying a lot, this is a space to begin setting some of it down. Gently. Together.
We would be honored to have you join us.
