What To Expect at Mind Body Healing Collective

Real support. No pressure.
Just compassionate, expert care that meets you where you are.

Support That Meets You Exactly Where You Are

We know how hard it can be to take that first step, especially when you’re feeling anxious, exhausted, or unsure of what you need. Whether you’re coming to see us in Scottsdale or joining us online, our goal is simple: to make sure you feel safe, supported, and deeply respected from the very beginning.

On this page, you’ll get a feel for what it’s like to work with us, so you can arrive feeling a little more settled and a lot more seen.

“Healing doesn’t happen on a schedule.
It unfolds when we feel safe, seen, and supported.”

Individual Therapy

In person or virtual. Collaborative, grounded, and fully centered on you.

Therapy at Mind Body Healing Collective isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s not rushed. It’s not performative. Every session is paced to your nervous system and built around what feels most supportive that day.

Here’s what a typical session might include:

  • A short check-in to orient and settle
  • A mix of talk therapy and reflective conversation
  • Somatic tools and tracking (gentle ways to notice how your body responds during sessions), breathwork, or mindfulness—if it fits
  • Strategies to support you between sessions

Whether you’re working through trauma, anxiety, grief, or a major life transition, we’ll meet you with respect, presence, and attunement.

Workshops, Groups,
+ Retreats

Community-based care with zero
pressure to share.

Our group offerings are designed with safety, agency, and body-awareness in mind. We offer 60–90 minute classes, half-day workshops, and full-day or weekend retreats—all centered on healing through connection, education, and somatic tools. Whether you’re joining for an hour or a weekend, participation is always invitational, never forced.

You can expect:

  • A warm welcome and clear group agreements
  • Options for gentle movement, journaling, or breathwork
  • Nervous system education in simple, relatable language

A space to be exactly as you are—no pressure to share, no expectation to perform

Trauma Therapy Intensives

Deep, focused support when you’re
ready for more.

Sometimes you’re at a point where weekly sessions aren’t enough. That’s where intensives come in. These extended sessions (usually 3–6 hours) allow for deeper work without disruption. They’re ideal for moving through stuck patterns, navigating a big transition, or giving yourself dedicated space to heal.

A trauma therapy intensive may include:

  • Body-based practices and somatic tracking (noticing the body’s responses in real-time)
  • Guided breathwork or regulation techniques
  • Attachment-based inquiry and story integration (exploring patterns and meaning from a relational lens)
  • Breaks and pacing based on your needs, nothing is pushed
  • Optional collaboration with other trusted providers (such as a somatic touch practitioner) to support your healing process

This is some of our most transformative work. And it’s always done with care, collaboration, and respect for your system

Online Services

Same care, more flexibility.

All of our services—individual therapy, groups, intensives—are available online through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. If being in person isn’t realistic or comfortable for you, we’ve got you.

Before your first virtual session, you’ll receive:

  • A secure Zoom link and clear instructions
  • Tips for setting up your space
  • Suggestions for grounding items (think: journal, water, blanket)
  • Optional tech support if you’re new to this

Online or in person, our presence doesn’t change. You’ll be met with the same care and intention either way.

Our Approach

Everything we offer is grounded in four core values:

  • Choice: You are always in charge of your experience
  • Consent: We check in regularly—your “yes” and “no” matter
  • Safety: Regulation comes first; deep work only happens when your system feels safe
  • Attunement: Healing happens in relationship, not in isolation
There’s no agenda, no pressure, and no expectation to be anywhere other than where you are.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not at all. Most of our clients are new to this kind of care. We’ll walk with you step-by-step.

That’s okay—and it’s something we stay very attuned to. While we can’t prevent overwhelm entirely (it’s a natural part of healing), we’re here to help you stay near the edge of what feels manageable without going over it. We’re always tracking your nervous system, adjusting the pace, and responding with care, not pressure. If overwhelm shows up, we pause, ground, and move through it gently. You’re always welcome to slow down, take a break, or say no. Your safety—especially your nervous system’s sense of safety—is the foundation of the work we do.

Yes. Many of our clients benefit from an integrative plan. We’ll collaborate on what feels right for you.

We do our best to keep care accessible. Reach out and we’ll talk through options.

“You don’t have to be ‘ready.’ You just have to be met with care
where you are.”

If You’re Wondering If You’re Ready...

You probably are. You don’t have to wait until you feel “less overwhelmed” or “more put together.” We work with high-functioning, driven people who are carrying a lot and want something to shift.
